A man\u2019s body has been found at an infant\u00a0school<\/a>\u00a0in\u00a0Leicestershire<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Police were called to Barwell Infant School at 7.30am in Townend Road in Barwell, near Hinckley.<\/p>\n

Images show police and forensic vans inside the playground.<\/p>\n

It is understood children were not on the grounds at the time of the discovery.<\/p>\n

Leicestershire Police confirmed the death is being treated as non-suspicious.<\/p>\n

One person who lives on the street told\u00a0Leicestershire Live<\/a>: \u2018It\u2019s usually a quiet road, I mean, you can hear the kids at break time, but not much goes on.<\/p>\n

\u2018I opened my curtains at the usual time and saw police cars and an ambulance.\u2019 v<\/p>\n

A spokesperson for\u00a0Leicestershire Police said: \u2018Shortly after 7.30am today a report was received stating the body of a man had been found in Townend Road, Barwell.<\/p>\n

\u2018Emergency services attended and the man was pronounced dead at the scene.<\/p>\n

\u2018His death is not being treated as suspicious and a file will be prepared for the coroner.<\/p>\n

\u2018Identification of the deceased is a matter for HM Coroner.\u2019<\/p>\n
