This Morning<\/a>\u00a0star,Alice Liveing, was sent to the hospital after experiencing \u2018unusual bleeding\u2019 following the birth of her baby daughter.<\/p>\n

The 32-year-old\u00a0health<\/a>\u00a0and wellbeing presenter welcomed her newborn with husband Patrick Murphy last month in the \u2018most unexpected way\u2019 and described the experience as \u2018wild\u2019 with a tale she will followers for another day.<\/p>\n

The\u00a0ITV<\/a>\u00a0star has been open and honest about her post-partum journey on\u00a0social media<\/a>, and opened up about a surprising health scare after she noticed out-of-the-ordinary bleeding and visited her GP.<\/p>\n

In an\u00a0Instagram<\/a>\u00a0story, she wrote: \u2018Not the news I wanted today, but want to share in case it\u2019s helpful or makes anyone else get their\u2019s checked.<\/p>\n

\u2018I had some unusual post-birth bleeding over the last week or so and saw my GP for a scan. Turns out I have some \u2018retained products\u2019 and am now waiting for the plan of action to deal with this.<\/p>\n

\u2018It\u2019s these \u2018little things\u2019 you always try and write off as being normal post having a baby that it can be worth getting checked.<\/p>\n

\u2018I\u2019m sadly outside of the 28-day window to receive triage care from the hospital hence needing to go down the GP route but I\u2019m glad I did and will keep you posted with next steps for anyone who might be experiencing similar.\u2019<\/p>\n

As she offered more information for new mothers to look out for, she described her own bleeding as \u2018bright, bright red with large clots (sorry TMI) from around 25 days post birth\u2019.<\/p>\n

Despite the unexpected development, she is ready to get back into the groove of working as an influencer with 675k followers.<\/p>\n

\u201dI\u2019ve needed to take this time to really survive the last few weeks, but now I\u2019d love a focus of trying to achieve some baby steps towards bringing a bit of work back in,\u2019 she added.<\/p>\n

Elsewhere on her social media, she has been candid about her struggle adjusting to caring for a whole new tiny person.<\/p>\n

\u2018Like I had such, such good intentions of being like \u201cI\u2019m going to go for a walk every morning, get outside, get daylight\u201d and honestly it is just so much harder,\u2019 she wrote in one post.<\/p>\n

It has been made all the more challenging by her husband, whom she calls Paddy, returning to work after two weeks of paternity leave.<\/p>\n

Although she is also trying to take in early motherhood as best as she can, as she outlined in her most recent post.<\/p>\n

\u2018I\u00a0don\u2019t want to ever look back and regret not soaking up every second of her being this tiny and squishy.<\/p>\n

\u2018So yes, I hope this is a helpful share for anyone who needs the reassurance that slowing down is ok. Lean in to the cosy days and know our time will come for other things but it isn\u2019t right now,\u2019 she wrote.<\/p>\n
