Rail<\/a>\u00a0users have been told not to travel after a power outage at\u00a0Leeds<\/a>\u00a0station wrecked havoc to countless train services.<\/p>\n

The outage led to a fault with the signalling system, leaving many services cancelled or delayed.<\/p>\n

LNER services between\u00a0London<\/a>\u00a0and Leeds and\u00a0Bradford<\/a>\u00a0Forster Square have been affected.<\/p>\n

All Northern services to and from Leeds have been disrupted, as well as a number of CrossCounty and TransPennine Express routes.<\/p>\n

The chaos is expected to last until 3pm, according to National Rail, who are on site and investigating the problem.<\/p>\n

LNER have told passengers not to travel today and instead defer their journeys until tomorrow.<\/p>\n

Rail users will be able to user their tickets with other companies at no extra cost, the service said.<\/p>\n
