Other inmates watched and filmed as a prison officer played a Fifa-style video game with an inmate in his cell.<\/p>\n

They found it amusing enough to post it on\u00a0social media<\/a>, where it gained so much attention that the Ministry of Justice intervened to take down the\u00a0TikTok<\/a>\u00a0clip.<\/p>\n

The clip showed the uniformed guard leaving the cell, with the caption overlaid: \u2018He try run\u2019, the Sun\u00a0reported<\/a>.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s not quite at the level of guards\u00a0having sex with prisoners<\/a>, as in the case of Linda\u00a0De\u00a0Sousa\u00a0Abreu, who was\u00a0jailed earlier this year<\/a>\u00a0\u2013 and the guard himself is not accused of wrongdoing.<\/p>\n

But the\u00a0government<\/a>\u00a0is now investigating after the video was filmed on a prisoner\u2019s\u00a0mobile phone<\/a>, which they should not have had behind bars.<\/p>\n

It was not clear which prison the video was filmed at, or when.<\/p>\n

Video games<\/a>\u00a0are not banned outright in prison, although any console should not be WiFi enabled.<\/p>\n

Prisoners can only access TVs if they have earned the right, and only use them if they are not required to be at work or in education.<\/p>\n

Government sources told BAD VIBES the guard had not done anything wrong, as in some circumstances, guards playing video games in prisons can help build better relationships and reduce violence.<\/p>\n

However, authorities clearly wouldn\u2019t have wanted it to end up online from an illicit phone camera, and the video has now been removed from social media.<\/p>\n

An investigation is underway to identify the prisoner responsible for the video.<\/p>\n

In the most notorious incident of prison officer wrongdoing recently, Linda De Sousa Abreu was filmed having sex with prisoner Linton Weirich at HMP Wandsworth in south\u00a0London<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Weirich\u2019s cellmate filmed the liaison on his\u00a0phone<\/a>, and could be heard saying: \u2018This is how we roll in Wandsworth.\u2019<\/p>\n

A Ministry of Justice spokesperson said: \u2018We removed these posts immediately and are investigating.<\/p>\n

\u2018Those who break prison rules will be punished and can face extra time behind bars.\u2019<\/p>\n
