This time next year, we might not be millionaires, but\u00a0Only Fools And Horses<\/a>\u00a0fans could be in for a real treat.<\/strong><\/p>\n Sir\u00a0David Jason<\/a>, who played Derek \u2018Del Boy\u2019 Trotter\u00a0in the beloved sitcom<\/a>, is reportedly set to front a two-part reunion for the legendary show\u2019s 45th anniversary in 2026.<\/p>\n The programmes will seemingly feature never before seen footage, and there\u2019s even a hope\u00a0Nicholas Lyndhurst<\/a>\u00a0(Rodney Trotter) could take part.<\/p>\n Lovely jubbly!<\/p>\n A source told\u00a0The Sun<\/a>: \u2018David is well aware of Only Fools\u2019 huge fanbase, so appreciates how much these documentaries will be lapped up.<\/p>\n \u2018He\u2019s looking forward to reminiscing about old times, as well as giving away secrets about the show.\u2019<\/p>\n The insider admitted getting Nicholas to sign on \u2018would be a major coup\u2019, if he was \u201dup for taking part\u2019 in the specials.<\/p>\n He hasn\u2019t really factored into past reunions or the convention circuit, and in recent years you\u2019ve been more likely to\u00a0see him alongside Frasier\u00a0<\/a>than Del Boy.<\/p>\n However, it\u2019s said discussions are underway for the two-part show, which is set to air on Gold next year.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n The original sitcom originally aired for seven series from 1981 to 1991, along with 16\u00a0Christmas<\/a>\u00a0specials over the years, before the show officially came to an end in 2003.<\/p>\n It followed the trials and tribulations of brothers Del Boy and Rodney, and their various money-making schemes.<\/p>\n Sir David previously admitted\u00a0the role of Del Boy\u00a0<\/a>was something of a \u2018ghost\u2019 on his shoulder, albeit one that\u2019s afforded him a great career.<\/p>\n \u2018My biggest reward has been having such a fulfilling career for so many years,\u2019 he added to\u00a0Radio Times<\/a>\u00a0last year.<\/p>\n <\/p>\n \u2018That\u2019s what drove Derek Trotter too; when he became a millionaire he didn\u2019t have the same chase. He realised then that riches can be counted in so many ways.
