\u2018It\u2019s specifically\u00a0vaginal sex<\/a>\u00a0that causes a feeling so unpleasant I can\u2019t finish. Needless to say that oral sex causes no problems.\u2019<\/p>\n

Writing on\u00a0Reddit<\/a>\u00a0he explains that it\u2019s not the rest of his body that gets hot, specifically just his\u00a0erect penis<\/a>.<\/p>\n

While it may seem niche, it\u2019s affecting Jack\u2019s\u00a0sex life<\/a>\u00a0\u2014 and it\u2019s not just a him problem.<\/p>\n

While there\u2019s no medically recognised \u2018fire penis\u2019, Dr Babak Ashrafi tells\u00a0Metro<\/strong>\u00a0that unusual sensations during sex, including experience a too-toasty penis, are far more common than many men realise.<\/p>\n

Sexual\u00a0health<\/a>\u00a0nurse for Lovehoney, Sarah Mulindwa, agrees, telling\u00a0Metro\u00a0<\/strong>that Jack\u2019s incorrect use of a condom could be the ticket.<\/p>\n

\u2018Using lubricant inside a condom can trap heat, increase sensitivity, and cause discomfort,\u2019 she says. \u2018It also increases the risk of condom failure, which can lead to unintended pregnancy or STI transmission.\u2019<\/p>\n

How can you stop your penis getting hot during sex?<\/h2>\n

While there isn\u2019t any recognised treatment path for this, the sexual health nurse suggests some things you can do to ease discomfort.<\/p>\n
