Jake Paul<\/a>\u00a0might be on a liquid diet for the foreseeable future after his knockout defeat against\u00a0Anthony Joshua<\/a>, but the pain of a broken jaw is likely to be eased by his enormous earnings.<\/p>\n

The former heavyweight champion laboured to a sixth-round victory over the Youtuber-turned-boxer on Saturday in what was a largely ugly spectacle.<\/p>\n

To his credit, Paul emerged with a measure of credit and took the fight deeper than anyone, Joshua included, expected although he was unable to land a telling punch and resorted to some desperate delaying tactics.<\/p>\n

When Joshua eventually found his range the fight came to its inevitable conclusion with a dazed and confused Paul counted by referee Christopher Young.<\/p>\n

In his ring interview afterwards, Paul revealed the extent of the damage, spitting out blood before saying: \u2018I\u2019m feeling good, that was fun.love this sport. I gave it my all\u2026 I had a blast.<\/p>\n

\u2018Anthony\u2019s a great fighter, I got my ass beat but that\u2019s what this sport\u2019s about.<\/p>\n
