Jennifer Lopez<\/a>\u00a0has taken aim at ex-husband\u00a0Ben Affleck<\/a>\u00a0nearly\u00a0a year after their divorce was finalised<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The pop superstar, 56, first went public with the Hollywood actor, 53, in 2002. Within months they were engaged, however broke up by 2004.<\/p>\n

But \u2013 after they each moved on and experienced marriage break-downs \u2013 they eventually got back together in 2021, and were engaged again by the next year, 20 years after their first proposal.<\/p>\n

The couple went on to tie the knot\u00a0<\/a>in\u00a0Las Vegas<\/a>\u00a0in July 2022, however in August last year,\u00a0Jennifer filed for divorce, citing \u2018irreconcilable differences\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Although\u00a0the former couple<\/a>\u00a0have rarely addressed their break-up, this week the singer kicked off her new Up All Night residency in Las Vegas where she made a biting remark about their relationship.<\/p>\n

While Jennifer didn\u2019t mention her ex-husband by name, she did allude to\u00a0their seemingly tumultuous marriage<\/a>.<\/p>\n

During a break between songs, Jennifer thanked fans who had been in the audience nearly a decade earlier for Jennifer Lopez: All I Have, her first Vegas residency, which ran from January 2016 until September 2018.<\/p>\n

Reflecting on that time, she shared: \u2018It went by in a blink, didn\u2019t it, for those of you who were there on opening night ten years ago?\u2019<\/p>\n

After snapping her fingers and being met by applause for fans, she added: \u2018And, you know, at that time I\u2019d only been married twice.\u2019<\/p>\n

She was then met by laughter from the audience, before declaring: \u2018That\u2019s not true, it was only once. It felt like twice.\u2019<\/p>\n

Attempting to backtrack a bit, she then smiled and told them she was \u2018just kidding\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u2018It\u2019s over, and I just \u2013 boom \u2013 we\u2019re fine. It\u2019s all good,\u2019 she said before moving on with the show.<\/p>\n

Continuing to chat to her fans, Jennifer said the \u2018good news\u2019 was that she was \u2018learning\u2019 and \u2018growing\u2019 following her break-ups. \u2018And we\u2019re in our happy era now!\u2019 she declared.<\/p>\n

Whilst the singer referenced only being married twice, she\u2019s actually walked down the aisle four times.<\/p>\n

Although she was engaged to her high school boyfriend David Cruz \u2013 whom she was in a relationship with for nearly a decade \u2013 the pair later broke up.<\/p>\n

She then went on to marry Cuban waiter Ojani Noa, with their union lasting from February 1997 to January 1998.<\/p>\n

After dating producer and rapper\u00a0Sean Combs<\/a>\u00a0from 1999 until 2001, then marrying her backup dancer Cris Judd the same year. They broke up in January 2003.<\/p>\n

It was after this that she was in a relationship with Ben for the first time. While they\u2019d crossed paths several times before, the first got to know each other on the set of the film Gigli in 2001 and then worked together on the music video for her song Jenny from the Block.<\/p>\n

However the public and media interest in the couple was so intense, they eventually admitted that the \u2018excessive attention\u2019 was one reason for their eventual split, with Jennifer also calling it her \u2018first real heartbreak\u2019.<\/p>\n

\u2018I think different time, different thing, who knows what could\u2019ve happened, but there was a genuine love there,\u2019 she once said.<\/p>\n

Just five months after their engagement ended, Jennifer married singer Marc Anthony. They were together for a decade and welcomed twins Max and Emme in 2008.<\/p>\n

In the years since \u2013 and before she rekindled her romance with Ben, Jennifer dated her former backup dancer Casper Smart and baseball player Alex Rodriguez \u2013 who she was also engaged to but postponed their wedding twice due to the pandemic.<\/p>\n

The same month as their relationship was confirmed to be over, she was then linked to Ben again.<\/p>\n

After his initial break-up with Jennifer,\u00a0Ben went on to marry actress Jennifer Garner<\/a>. They were together from 2005 until 2018 and in that time welcomed three children together \u2013 Violet, Fin and Samuel.<\/p>\n

A few years after their divorce, he called their split \u2018the biggest regret of my life\u2019. \u2018It\u2019s a painful experience, even if you\u2019re on the best possible terms and you agree it\u2019s the best choice.\u2019<\/p>\n

Following his split from his ex-wives, the actor has remained friendly with both and has regularly been spending time with them.<\/p>\n

Speaking to GQ earlier this year, Ben said there was \u2018no scandal, soap opera or intrigue\u2019.<\/p>\n

He also praised his relationship with the mother of his children, sharing: \u2018I\u2019m really lucky that I have a really good co-parent and partner in Jennifer Garner, the kid\u2019s mum, who\u2019s wonderful and great and we work together well.\u2019<\/p>\n

A year ago, J-Lo spoke about embracing being single after her highly publicised splits. \u2018Yes, I\u2019m not looking for anybody, because everything that I\u2019ve done over the past 25, 30 years, being in these different challenging situations, what can I do when it\u2019s just me flying on my own\u2026what if I\u2019m<\/p>\n

During the opening night of her residency, Jennifer also took a chance to hit back at critics who have questioned the revealing outfits she wears.<\/p>\n

\u2018It is funny, I do laugh at some of the things people say sometimes and one of the things is, \u201cwhen she takes pictures she smiles with her mouth open, why does she do that\u201d,\u2019 she said.<\/p>\n

Laughing, she went on: \u2018\u201dWhy is she always dressed that way, why doesn\u2019t she dress her age\u201d, I\u2019m like \u201chuh, if you had this body you would be naked too!\u201d.\u2019<\/p>\n
