America\u2019s Got Talent<\/a>\u00a0star Brian King Joseph has accused\u00a0Will Smith<\/a>\u00a0and his company of\u00a0sexual harassment<\/a>, wrongful termination, and retaliation in a bombshell lawsuit.<\/p>\n

The professional violinist, who placed top three on the reality TV show in 2018, filed the lawsuit on December 30 at the Superior Court of\u00a0California<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Joseph claims that the Bad Boys actor, 58, \u2018was deliberately grooming and priming him for further sexual exploitation\u2019 after asking him to join Smith\u2019s Based on a True Story: 2025 tour. An attorney for Smith has denied the claims.<\/p>\n

People Magazine<\/a>\u00a0reports that the lawsuit alleges that in March 2025, following a \u2018traumatic series of events\u2019, someone had forced entry into his Las Vegas hotel room.<\/p>\n

He claimed that there was evidence of \u2018sexual threat of violence\u2019, including a handwritten note that allegedly read: \u2018Brian, I\u2019ll be back\u2026just us.\u2019<\/p>\n

Alongside the note, Joseph continued to allege that there were \u2018wipes, a beer bottle, a red backpack, a bottle of HIV medication with another individual\u2019s name, an earring, and hospital discharge paperwork\u2019 in the room, which did not belong to Joseph.<\/p>\n

According to the lawsuit, Joseph \u2018feared that an unknown individual would soon return to his room to engage in sexual acts.\u2019<\/p>\n

Joseph claims he reported the incident to hotel staff and a local non-emergency police line, as well as Smith\u2019s management team.<\/p>\n

However, he went on to allege that he was \u2018shamed\u2019 by a member of the management team, who then terminated his employment.<\/p>\n

The lawsuit claims that the incident caused Joseph \u2018severe emotional distress, ec<\/p>\n

onomic loss, reputational harm, and other damages,\u2019 including \u2018PTSD and other mental illness as a result of the termination.\u2019<\/p>\n

Allen B. Grodsky, an attorney for Smith, told People in a statement: \u2018Mr. Joseph\u2019s allegations concerning my client are false, baseless, and reckless.<\/p>\n

\u2018They are categorically denied, and we will use all legal means available to address these claims and to ensure that the truth is brought to light.\u2019<\/p>\n

It comes after Smith\u2019s wife,\u00a0Jada Pinkett Smith<\/a>, faced a $3 million (\u00a32.2m) complaint from former associate Bilaal Salaam claiming she verbally threatened him.<\/p>\n

Salaam, 55, a longtime friend of the couple, alleged in the lawsuit filed on December 1 that he would \u2018catch a stray bullet\u2019 or \u2018go missing\u2019 if he didn\u2019t stop talking about her personal business.<\/p>\n

Pinkett Smith, 54, was accused of confronting Salaam during a gathering for her husband\u2019s birthday in 2021 with \u2018approximately seven members of her entourage.\u2019<\/p>\n

Salaam alleges that she became \u2018verbally aggressive\u2019 and demanded that he sign a non-disclosure agreement.<\/p>\n

He went on to claim that following the altercation, Pinkett Smith and her team followed Salaam to his car \u2018while continuing to issue verbal threats.\u2019<\/p>\n

The lawsuit alleges that in March 2022, Salaam refused to assist with \u2018crisis management\u2019 after Smith slapped\u00a0Chris Rock<\/a>\u00a0onstage at the 94th Academy Awards after the comedian\u00a0made a joke about Pinkett Smith\u2019s hair<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Salaam claims he refused to perform tasks that \u2018he believed were illegal, unethical, or morally compromising, stating his conscience would not allow him to be involved in any cover-up or deceptive PR campaign.\u2019<\/p>\n

As a result, he says he was the \u2018target of a retaliatory campaign launched against him\u2019 by Smith and Pinkett Smith. Pinkett Smith and Smith have denied his claims.<\/p>\n
