It increases the risk of people setting off on journeys without being able to see properly, putting others and risk \u2013 and leaving themselves at risk of fines.<\/p>\n

A microfibre cloth can be a lifesaver on colder mornings, allowing drivers to quickly and easily clear the windscreen.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s always a good idea to keep microfibre cloths in the car.<\/p>\n

A spokesperson from BigWantsYourCar.com said: \u201cA fogged-up windscreen might not seem serious, but legally, any obstruction to your view of the road is enough to land you with a fine.<\/p>\n

\u201cIt\u2019s not just a winter problem. Autumn nights are cold and damp, and condensation can build up within minutes of setting off.\u201d<\/p>\n

The Highway Code makes it clear that windscreens and front windows must be kept clean and free from obstructions at all times.<\/p>\n

And motorists could find themselves in trouble in the event of an incident.<\/p>\n

Driving without a clear view of the road ahead could result in a \u00a31,000 fine and three penalty points.<\/p>\n

The spokesperson said: \u201cA microfibre cloth costs a few pounds but could save you thousands in the long run.<\/p>\n
