The new presenter of\u00a0MasterChef<\/a>, has taken over from\u00a0John Torode and Gregg Wallace, after they were both sacked from the series for their behaviour.<\/p>\n Dent, 52, is set to present\u00a0Celebrity MasterChef\u00a0alongside Torode, 60, which begins on November 17, and has revealed her true opinions about him.<\/p>\n \u2018I absolutely adore John Torode,\u2019 she told\u00a0The Sunday Times.<\/a><\/li>\n She added that they are friends for life, and his career is entering a post-MasterChef era.<\/li>\n <\/p>\n She also shared her thoughts about Wallace: \u2018He was always a very, very big character.<\/p>\n \u2018After reading the entire [inquiry] report, my recollections of having a nice time with him, drinking\u00a0coffee<\/a>\u00a0and having a biscuit now and again is pretty much irrelevant.<\/p>\n \u2018For me to sit here now and go, \u201cWell, that\u2019s not the Gregg that I knew,\u201d is beside the point because it\u2019s not about what I think.\u2019<\/p>\n She added: \u2018He said an awful lot, and that was during the point when I was starting my new [MasterChef] job and I utterly cut myself off from all of that.\u2019<\/p>\n She looked to the future of the show, which will see Dent co-host the series alongside Anna Haugh, 45, an Irish chef and former prot\u00e9g\u00e9e of\u00a0Gordon Ramsay.<\/a><\/p>\n \u2018MasterChef was a very male place for the whole time I was there \u2014 utter male energy all the time,\u2019 she said.<\/p>\n \u2018To be there now with a woman by my side, it\u2019s fantastic.\u2019<\/p>\n Wallace, 60, was sacked after facing\u00a0accusations of making \u2018inappropriate sexual jokes\u2019<\/a>, lewd comments on set, asking for the\u00a0phone<\/a>\u00a0numbers of female members of production staff, and undressing in front of and standing \u2018too close\u2019 to women working on his shows.<\/p>\n Wallace issued an apology saying he was \u2018deeply sorry for any distress caused\u2019 and that he \u2018never set out to harm or humiliate\u2019.<\/p>\n![\"\"](\"https:\/\/badvibes.live\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/11\/SEI_258999320-5494-300x169.webp\")
