Brooklyn Beckham<\/a>\u00a0has now covered up a tattoo dedicated to his dad, Sir\u00a0David Beckham<\/a>, after his explosive statement denouncing the family.<\/p>\n

A source told\u00a0Metro\u00a0<\/strong>the football legend is \u2018obviously heartbroken\u2019 at this latest move from his eldest son, 26.<\/p>\n

Last month, Brooklyn released a statement on\u00a0social media<\/a>\u00a0in which he weighed in on long-held rumours he\u2019d had a falling out with parents Sir David and\u00a0Victoria Beckham<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The Cloud23 founder hit out at his parents<\/a>, accusing them of \u2018controlling\u2019 him and \u2018trying to ruin\u2019 his relationship with wife Nicola, who he married in 2022.<\/p>\n

Brooklyn had an anchor on his arm with the word \u2018dad\u2019 written in the middle, which new pictures show has been covered up.<\/p>\n

\u2018David is obviously heartbroken over Brooklyn\u2019s decision to cover up his tribute to him,\u2019 our source shared. \u2018It feels like a deep cut, even after everything that was said in his statement.<\/p>\n

The family are known for their tattoo collections, with plenty of dedications to each other over the years.<\/p>\n

In his memoir, Sir David said his inkings were an \u2018expression of how he feels about Victoria and the kids\u2019.<\/p>\n

He has all the kids names written on his body, including Brooklyn in large lettering on his lower back and \u2018we love you daddy\u2019 in his children\u2019s handwriting.<\/p>\n

One of the most visible is Brooklyn\u2019s nickname \u2018Buster\u2019 in small lettering on his neck with a heart next to it.<\/p>\n

Our source confirmed: \u2018David still has his tribute to Brooklyn, his nickname Buster on his neck, and has no plans to cover it up.\u2019<\/p>\n

When he revealed the ink, the former England captain wrote: \u2018I\u2019ve always called Brooklyn (Buster) since the day he was born\u2026 Love you Bust.\u2019<\/p>\n

Brooklyn also has plenty of tattoos in tribute to his father but the script in the large anchor on his right arm has now been covered up by symbols.<\/p>\n

A source told\u00a0The Sun<\/a>: \u2018Brooklyn\u2019s\u00a0had laser treatment on the writing. He wanted it gone.<\/p>\n

\u2018There is so much hurt and pain on his side, it would not be genuine to keep such a tribute on his body.\u2019<\/p>\n

He has also covered up the tattoo on his chest,\u00a0reading \u2018mama\u2019s boy\u2019 over his heart,\u00a0<\/a>which was dedicated to Victoria.<\/p>\n

The words have been hidden within a sketch of Nicola\u2019s bouquet from their wedding day, which comes after he\u00a0vowed to \u2018always choose\u2019<\/a>\u00a0his other half.<\/p>\n

He also has their wedding vows inked, which read: \u2018Nicola when you walked down the aisle you took my breath away you look so beautiful tonight and always.<\/p>\n

As the rift between Brooklyn and his parents continues to widen,\u00a0Nicola Peltz<\/a>\u2019s father, Nelson, has said he\u00a0wants his family to \u2018stay the hell out of the press\u2019<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The 83-year-old billionaire continued: \u2018I\u2019ll tell you my daughter\u2019s great, my son-in-law, Brooklyn, is great, and I look forward to them having a long, happy marriage together.\u2019<\/p>\n

Nicola, 31, also deleted all traces of her in-laws from social media last month<\/a>, notably deleting a post which she shared to mark Victoria\u2019s 50th birthday in 2024.<\/p>\n

The Beckhams have not issued a formal response to their son\u2019s statement, or the rumoured tell-all book that\u2019s in the works, but Sir David did say parents have to allow their kids to \u2018make mistakes\u2019.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n

Victoria is reportedly\u00a0desperate to patch things up<\/a>, although Brooklyn has made it clear he\u2019s not interested.<\/p>\n

\u2018Victoria hates to think about her family being so divided, especially with it involving one of her children. Brooklyn\u2019s absence at David\u2019s 50th birthday party was noticeable, and she desperately wished he would have been there,\u2019 a source previously told BADVIBES.<\/p>\n
