Team GB<\/a>\u00a0skier Gus Kenworthy blasted US Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents by appearing to write \u2018F**K ICE\u2019 in urine in the snow ahead of the\u00a0Winter Olympics<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Kenworthy, an Essex-born and American-raised actor who has previously won Olympic silver with the US team, is part of the British contingent in\u00a0Milan<\/a>.<\/p>\n

In recent weeks, protests have broken out across\u00a0Minneapolis<\/a>\u00a0after ICE agents shot and killed two US citizens. Federal agents from the same agency have also been deployed in Milan for the Winter Olympics as part of the US\u2019 security measures.<\/p>\n

Kenworthy, who has over 1.2million followers on\u00a0Instagram<\/a>, shared a post which appeared to show he had urinated the phrase \u2018F**k ICE\u2019 into the snow.<\/p>\n

His post also encouraged US citizens to reach out to their senator, urging them to \u2018refuse to support any final Department of Homeland Security funding agreement that fails to meaningfully rein in ICE and Border Patrol.\u2019<\/p>\n

His post also provided a \u2018sample script\u2019 for US citizens to send to their respective senators.<\/p>\n

\u2018Innocent people have been murdered, and enough is enough,\u2019 he wrote.<\/p>\n

\u2018We can\u2019t wait around while ICE continues to operate with unchecked power in our communities.<\/p>\n

\u2018Senators still have leverage right now, and Senator [Name] must use it to demand real guardrails and accountability \u2014 including getting ICE and CBP out of our communities, ending blank-check funding for brutality, and establishing clear limits on warrantless arrests, profiling, and enforcement at sensitive locations like schools and hospitals.<\/p>\n

\u2018Please pass this message along to the Senator\u2019<\/p>\n

Kenworthy, who was raised in Colorado, will compete for Team GB in the free-ski half-pipe.<\/p>\n

He will avoid any punishment from the\u00a0International Olympic Committee<\/a>\u00a0for his comments.<\/p>\n

An IOC spokesman said: \u2018During the\u00a0Olympic Games<\/a>, all participants have the opportunity to express their views as per the Athlete Expression Guidelines. The IOC does not regulate personal\u00a0social media<\/a>\u00a0posts.\u2019<\/p>\n

ICE agents are present in Milan alongside US vice-president JD Vance who is due to attend Friday night\u2019s opening ceremony.<\/p>\n
