The Prince of\u00a0Wales<\/a>\u00a0faced intense questions about his uncle,\u00a0Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor<\/a>, as the royal family continued to face fallout over his ties to\u00a0Jeffrey Epstein<\/a>.<\/p>\n

William was asked questions by reporters after he watched schoolgirls honing their football skills at a sports ground in the\u00a0Saudi Arabian<\/a>\u00a0capital Riyadh.<\/p>\n

A reporter travelling with the prince shouted twice: \u2018Sir, to what extent do you think the royal family has done enough around the Andrew and Epstein issue?\u2019<\/p>\n

It\u2019s unclear if William heard the question, but he didn\u2019t respond as he walked off the pitch.<\/p>\n

Andrew\u2019s involvement has been put back into the spotlight after a huge tranche of millions of documents associated with Epstein were released by\u00a0US<\/a>\u00a0authorities.<\/p>\n

The royal family have attempted to draw a line under the crisis, and Andrew, the King\u2019s disgraced brother, was stripped of his titles in December after years of being the subject of sex allegations involving Epstein.<\/p>\n

Before the visit on Monday, the Prince and\u00a0Princess of Wales<\/a>\u00a0issued their first public statement about the Epstein scandal.<\/p>\n

A\u00a0Kensington Palace<\/a>\u00a0spokesperson said: \u2018I can confirm that the Prince and Princess of Wales have been deeply concerned by the continued revelations. Their thoughts remain focused on the victims.\u2019<\/p>\n

Support for the\u00a0Royal Family<\/a>\u00a0has plummeted to just 45% amid\u00a0ongoing revelations of Andrew\u2019s involvement with the sexual predator.<\/a><\/p>\n

Andrew\u2019s reputation has collapsed over revelations about his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, with the latest batch of documents released by the Department for Justice fuelling criticism of the ex-prince.<\/p>\n

The former Duke of\u00a0York<\/a>\u00a0has always denied any accusations of wrongdoing.<\/p>\n

Images released by the Department of Justice in the US also appear to show him\u00a0crouching over an unidentified woman<\/a>\u00a0in what appears to be Epstein\u2019s New York mansion.<\/p>\n

The number of Brits in favour of the\u00a0Royal Family<\/a>\u00a0dropped three percentage points, down from 48%, over the last four months, according to the poll commissioned by the anti-monarchy group Republic.<\/p>\n

The King, who was\u00a0heckled on a visit to Clitheroe yesterday<\/a>, expressed his \u2018profound concern\u2019 about the allegations against his brother.<\/p>\n
