Emmerdale<\/a>\u2019s\u00a0Michael Parr<\/a>\u00a0has teased what to expect with his\u00a0Corriedale<\/a>\u00a0crossover scene.<\/p>\n

Last week, soap guru Sharon Marshall confirmed on\u00a0ITV<\/a>\u2019s\u00a0This Morning<\/a>\u00a0that filming was about to take place with four stars from Emmerdale, and four from Coronation Street.<\/p>\n

The famous faces were gearing up to film scenes that are in with a chance of featuring in Corriedale, a\u00a0one-off crossover instalment<\/a>\u00a0that\u2019s airing at the start of January.<\/p>\n

Bosses will soon give fans the chance to decide which duo they\u2019d\u00a0like to see in the episode via a vote<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Featuring in Sharon\u2019s This Morning segment were Emmerdale\u2019s\u00a0Emma Atkins<\/a>,\u00a0James Hooton<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Nicola Wheeler<\/a>, and a particularly large picture of\u00a0Michael Parr<\/a>, who wasn\u2019t able to appear in the interview.<\/p>\n

Emma revealed that she\u2019ll be filming a scene with\u00a0Alison King<\/a>, who plays Corrie\u2019s\u00a0Carla Connor<\/a>, James confirmed he\u2019ll be filming alongside Andy Whyment (Kirk Sutherland), while Nicola Wheeler revealed she\u2019ll be sharing scenes with\u00a0David Neilson<\/a>, who plays caf\u00e9 owner\u00a0Roy Cropper<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The group confirmed on Mike\u2019s behalf that he will be working with\u00a0Kate Ford<\/a>\u00a0in the crossover filming, who portrays\u00a0Tracy Barlow<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Following the development, Sharon took to her Instagram to share some behind the scenes pics of her and the Emmerdale favourites on set.<\/p>\n

In the comments, Mike shared that he was \u2018gutted\u2019 to have missed the segment, and also teased what to expect in the scene between Ross and Tracy.<\/p>\n

\u2018All I can say is that the scene between Ross and Tracy is mouth watering!!!\u2019, he wrote.<\/p>\n

Sounds intriguing. Both Tracy and Ross are single right now \u2013 could we be about to see a steamy romance form\u00a0between these two characters?<\/a><\/p>\n

It was confirmed at the start of this month that Vicky Myers and Danny Miller will definitely feature in the crossover,\u00a0as DS Lisa Swain and Aaron Dingle.<\/a><\/p>\n

An excited Coronation Street spokesperson told us: \u2018What leads Lisa and Aaron to find their lives intertwined on a dark and foreboding night in January?<\/p>\n

\u2018And which other Coronation Street and Emmerdale favourites will feature in the action packed and climactic episode?<\/p>\n

\u2018While the exact plot is being kept under wraps, what we can confirm is a one off one hour spectacular, featuring explosive scenes, nail biting drama and never before seen interactions between some of the nation\u2019s most loved soap characters.\u2019<\/p>\n

Iain MacLeod<\/a>, ITV\u2019s Executive Producer for Continuing Drama,\u00a0teased the game-changing episode<\/a>\u00a0and said: \u2018It\u2019s beyond exciting that filming is under way on Corriedale. There is a massive buzz around both the Leeds and Manchester sites and the images coming out of the shoot are utterly spectacular.<\/p>\n

\u2018And that\u2019s before we\u2019ve even got to all the brilliant transpennine interactions between characters from the different shows!<\/p>\n

He added: \u2018As a soap fan myself, I think my head is going to explode when the episode airs next year. It will be mind-blowing, historical and unmissable.\u2019<\/p>\n
