Sainsbury\u2019s<\/a>\u00a0shelves have never looked so delicious.<\/p>\n

With the festive season just around the corner, it\u2019s the perfect time to indulge in some top tier baked goods.<\/p>\n

Recently, Sainsbury\u2019s has put in a solid shift to keep Brits satisfied. Shoppers lost their minds over the Taste the Difference Belgian Dark Chocolate and Fudge Sourdough Bloomer \u2013 with some customers calling it the \u2018best thing ever<\/a>.\u2019<\/p>\n

And now,\u00a0social media<\/a>\u00a0is obsessing over a different product in the Taste the Difference range: a Bombay Potato Boule.<\/p>\n

Specifically it\u2019s a lightly curry spiced bread with potato pieces, dried apricot, dried onion and onion seeds \u2013 yum.<\/p>\n

Priced at \u00a32.30 (20p less than the chocolate sourdough) this isn\u2019t technically a new product, having been on Sainsbury\u2019s shelves since June 2024.<\/p>\n

However, it seems to have been on hiatus as a number of people on\u00a0TikTok<\/a>\u00a0are only just discovering it now.<\/p>\n

\u2018Oh my god it\u2019s back\u2019 @bethfrsmith commented underneath a video of the loaf.<\/p>\n

Reviews from the Sainsbury\u2019s website confirm that this is not a new launch from the\u00a0supermarket<\/a>, but that people are\u00a0very<\/em>\u00a0into it.<\/p>\n

User Angej wrote: \u2018I bought this last week and wasn\u2019t quite sure what to expect, or what to eat it with, in the end we tried it toasted with butter \u2013 absolutely delicious, it\u2019s different and very tasty, will definitely be buying again.\u2019<\/p>\n

Another customer added: \u2018Absolutely adored the Bombay bread. Will definitely buy it again if I manage to get to the shop before everyone else discovers it!\u2019<\/p>\n

Foodie TikToker @eatswithalia has reviewed a number of Sainsbury\u2019s products in the past \u2013 playing a major role in kickstarting viral foods on social media.<\/p>\n

And while she did review the Bombay bread, the creator also mentioned how she currently has beef with the supermarket, claiming they used multiple comments from one of her popular videos and didn\u2019t credit her.<\/p>\n

Even still, Alia was thoroughly impressed with the bread, calling it \u2018banging,\u2019 \u2018amazing\u2019 and \u2018a smart idea.\u2019<\/p>\n

The TikToker also made a point to shout out the food team at Sainsbury\u2019s, noting \u2018The people that come up with these ideas \u2013 I love you guys, you guys are geniuses.\u2019<\/p>\n

And it\u2019s true, the food teams at UK supermarkets are killing it at the minute.<\/p>\n

The masterminds behind\u00a0Lidl\u2019s bakery<\/a>\u00a0aisle definitely deserve a round of applause, winning over shoppers with incredible treats like the Chocolate Brioche Croissant or the White and Milk Chocolate Drizzle Doughnut.<\/p>\n

If you do manage to get your hands on the Bombay potato bread, make sure to try it with some mango chutney \u2013 a delicious combination approved by foodies online.<\/p>\n
