The penultimate episode of I’m a Celebrity…Get Me Out of Here has delivered a shocking elimination.
It’s now been three weeks since a new group of famous faces flew Down Under to enter camp and face a series of stomach-churning challenges and trials.
Tomorrow night, the latest King or Queen of the Jungle will be crowned – with the celebrities in the running including social media star Angryginge, EastEnders actress Shona McGarty and Celebs Go Dating client co-ordinator Tom Read Wilson.
However just missing out on a place in the final was rapper Aitch, who had been in camp for 22 days.
Saying goodbye to his campmates, he explained he was convinced he was the next to leave. ‘I told you last night. I was packing my bag and it was time to go,’ he told them.
However, his exit left many viewers shocked by the announcement.
‘WHATTT HOW HAS AITCH COME FOURTH!?’ user Seema questioned on X.
‘I think I speak for the entire of the U.K. right now when I say Aitch, WTF!? I had him down to win I’m so shocked,’ Dan declared.
‘I thought Aitch was a guaranteed finalist,’ Shania wrote.
‘Everyone must have just thought he was safe without voting. Daylight robbery poor Aitch,’ Lauren added.
Others said they were left ‘gutted’ by the result.
Speaking to Ant and Dec, Aitch said he wasn’t too torn up about missing out on the final though.
‘I’m over the moon – those three are mega. This morning, I woke up and didn’t care who was winning,’ he continued..
Watching back his time on the show, the rapper joked he ‘needed a shave’ but also couldn’t wait to ‘get home and watch the whole thing’.
Reflecting on the past few weeks, he explained: ‘In my head the only way to get through it was to take each day as it comes. I can’t remember most of what happened.
‘The only thing that’s on your mind is what is in front of you and I want to continue that going forward…without the food situation though.’
Asked who he wanted to win this season, Aitch declared: ‘That crown needs to come back to my hotel…so it needs to go to Ginge.’
Tonight’s episode kicked off just before Jack Osbourne and Lisa Riley were booted from camp in an unexpected double elimination.
Ahead of being told he’d been voted off, Jack told the Bush Telegraph about his hopes for the final: ‘I wanna do Cyclone, I wanna do the jungle banquet, I wanna say I’ve made it all the way to the end! I just wanna go the distance.’
However, his wish didn’t come to fruition, and he was sent packing.
But the remaining four couldn’t contain their excitement after being told they were about to face Celebrity Cyclone.
‘I’ve got a braced core and I’m ready for action!’ Tom declared.
Meanwhile Ginge shared: ‘I’m feeling majestic, feeling quite tight as well in certain areas… I’m absolutely buzzing, I’ve been training for this for multiple years.’
Wearing bright orange, Ginge dubbed himself ‘the pumpkin’, Aitch was the ‘red hot chilli stepper’,’ Tom turned into ‘the sapphire surfer’ and Shona became ‘the silver songstress’.
‘I’m over the moon, I’ve obviously dreamt of this moment since watching it as a kid, since a very young pumpkin,’ Ginge explained.
As Ant and Dec told the group, they were about to undertake ‘the world’s most expensive slip and slide’.
As expected, absolute chaos ensued as they were put through their paces and pelted with water, slime and even exercise balls.
Although they impressed in the opening minutes, a second wave of water send all four flying and rushing to retrieve their stars and get back to their marker before time ran out.
Having the time of their lives watching on, Ant and Dec were in stitches seeing the pandemonium play out.
Despite the difficulties, the four famous faces all managed to complete the challenge and walk away with four stars.
They later also got an extra treat with a choc ice, which included little snippets of information from home too.
This season the rest of the celebrities who have taken part have also included Martin Kemp, Ruby Wax, Kelly Brook, Vogue Williams, Eddie Kadi and Alex Scott.
