A rowdy ‘drunken’ passenger ended up in a tussle with police after reportedly refusing to sit down as a flight was landing.
The man was filmed standing up on a Ryanair flight from Kraków, Poland to Bristol as a cabin crew can be heard telling him to ‘sit down’.
He swears and sticks up his fingers as he continues to stand, which apparently delayed touchdown.
Once the plane landed at Bristol airport two police officers came onboard to accompany the man off the aircraft, but footage shows him now refusing to stand up.
He calls them ‘scumbags’ and says they are ‘bang out of order’.
According to the passenger who filmed the incident, Kacper Bujak, the man had caused trouble on a previous flight on Sunday from Bristol to Krakow.
He also apparently disrupted border control upon arrival in Kraków.
On his return flight to the UK, he drank heavily, swore numerous times and behaved inappropriately towards a young women, said Mr Bujak, the Daily Mail reports.
He said other passengers had asked the man to be quieter because of the children onboard, but this made him more rowdy.
It reportedly took an hour for police to remove him from the plane, delaying the plane’s next scheduled flight.
A Ryanair spokesperson told Metro: ‘Crew on this flight from Krakow to Bristol called ahead for police assistance after an individual passenger became disruptive.
‘Police met the aircraft upon arrival at Bristol and removed this disruptive passenger.
‘Ryanair has a strict zero tolerance policy towards passenger misconduct and will continue to take decisive action to combat unruly passenger behaviour, ensuring that all passengers and crew travel in a respectful and stress-free environment, without unnecessary disruption.’
