Team GB skier Gus Kenworthy blasted US Immigration and Customs Enforcement agents by appearing to write ‘F**K ICE’ in urine in the snow ahead of the Winter Olympics.
Kenworthy, an Essex-born and American-raised actor who has previously won Olympic silver with the US team, is part of the British contingent in Milan.
In recent weeks, protests have broken out across Minneapolis after ICE agents shot and killed two US citizens. Federal agents from the same agency have also been deployed in Milan for the Winter Olympics as part of the US’ security measures.
Kenworthy, who has over 1.2million followers on Instagram, shared a post which appeared to show he had urinated the phrase ‘F**k ICE’ into the snow.
His post also encouraged US citizens to reach out to their senator, urging them to ‘refuse to support any final Department of Homeland Security funding agreement that fails to meaningfully rein in ICE and Border Patrol.’
His post also provided a ‘sample script’ for US citizens to send to their respective senators.
‘Innocent people have been murdered, and enough is enough,’ he wrote.

‘We can’t wait around while ICE continues to operate with unchecked power in our communities.
‘Senators still have leverage right now, and Senator [Name] must use it to demand real guardrails and accountability — including getting ICE and CBP out of our communities, ending blank-check funding for brutality, and establishing clear limits on warrantless arrests, profiling, and enforcement at sensitive locations like schools and hospitals.
‘Please pass this message along to the Senator’

Kenworthy, who was raised in Colorado, will compete for Team GB in the free-ski half-pipe.
He will avoid any punishment from the International Olympic Committee for his comments.

An IOC spokesman said: ‘During the Olympic Games, all participants have the opportunity to express their views as per the Athlete Expression Guidelines. The IOC does not regulate personal social media posts.’
ICE agents are present in Milan alongside US vice-president JD Vance who is due to attend Friday night’s opening ceremony.
Mayor of Milan Giuseppe Sala has described the agency as ‘militia that kills’ with anti-ICE protests taking place in the city today.
