Support for the monarchy has fallen to 45% amid the ongoing revelations about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor in the Epstein finals.
The number of Brits in favour of the Royal Family dropped three percentage points, down from 48%, over the last four months, according to the poll commissioned by the anti-monarchy group Republic.
The public were surveyed the weekend the Royal Family made renewed attempts to distance themselves from the Andrew.
The Prince and Princess of Wales issued an ‘unprecedented’ statement on the Epstein scandal, saying they were ‘deeply concerned’ by the information published in the Epstein Files.

The King, who was heckled on a visit to Clitheroe yesterday, expressed his ‘profound concern’ about the allegations against his brother.
He also said he was ‘ready to support’ police investigations into the disgraced ex-prince.
Thames Valley police confirmed on Monday they were probing claims Andrew shared confidential reports with Jeffrey Epstein in his role as the UK’s trade envoy.
Emails from the Epstein files appear to show the former Duke shared confidential details of investment opportunities and reports of trade visits with the paedophile financier.
Andrew has also been linked to a fresh police investigation into reports that Epstein allegedly sent a second woman to have a sexual encounter with the former prince at the Royal Lodge.
The alleged incident happened at the royal estate in 2010, when the woman, who is not British, was in her 20s.
The former duke has always denied any wrongdoing.

The research, carried out by Savanta over the weekend, showed that 32% of people would prefer an elected head of state – the same a four months ago.
The number of those who did not know had risen from 20% to 24% since October.
The last poll took place just after Andrew agreed to stop publicly using his royal titles and honours in October 2025, but before the King stripped him of his right to be a prince.
Republic’s chief executive Graham Smith, who reported Andrew to the police over the trade envoy allegations, said: ‘The monarchy is losing its one claim to legitimacy, opinion poll ratings.
‘The trend across most polling is declining support, and this poll shows how low that support has gone.
‘Falling support is unsurprising given the gravity of accusations against Andrew.’
He stressed the ‘urgent need’ for a ‘serious and honest debate’ about a post-monarchy Britain.

Mr Smith added: ‘The monarchy is not going to reverse this trend of falling support. The late queen was the one person keeping this creaking institution going. Even her legacy is now being tainted by the Andrew scandal.’
The poll asked more than 2,100 adults ‘What would you prefer for the UK: a monarchy or an elected head of state?’.
The King received a mixed reception on a visit to Clitheroe yesterday.
He was shaking hands with royal fans whenmember of the public shouted: ‘How long have you known about Andrew and Epstein?’
Most of the crowd turned around and booed, with some telling the man to ‘shup up’.
Earlier that day, Kensington Palace break their silence as Prince William was en route to Saudi Arabia for the start of a three-day tour of the Middle East country.
Ahead of the visit, a spokesperson for the couple said: ‘I can confirm the Prince and Princess of Wales have been deeply concerned by the continuing revelations.
‘Their thoughts remain focused on the victims.’

Andrew’s reputation has collapsed over revelations about his friendship with Jeffrey Epstein, with the latest batch of documents released by the Department for Justice fuelling criticism of the ex-prince.
The former Duke of York has always denied any accusations of wrongdoing.
Images released by the Department of Justice in the US also appear to show him crouching over an unidentified woman in what appears to be Epstein’s New York mansion.
A letter released in the Epstein files also claimed that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor asked an exotic dancer for a threesome.
Giuffre was one of the most prominent sex trafficking victims of Epstein and accused Andrew of assaulting her on three occasions when she was 17.
She sued the former prince in 2021.
Andrew has repeatedly denied her claims, but he agreed to pay her an undisclosed sum as an out-of-court settlement.
