Guests have been evacuated from the Kings Park Hotel, near Glasgow, after a man died unexpectedly on the premises.

Police, ambulance and fire brigade units were seen around the hotel – along with a hazmat response unit.

Local photographer Charlotte Pawsey witnessed the chaos and told the Daily Record: ‘The police wouldn’t tell us anything other than it is quite serious.’

‘The death is unexplained, and enquiries are ongoing.’

It’s unclear why the man’s death prompted such a large response, but police will release more information in the coming hours.
